I'm an author and illustrator.  Mellingfield is the place where I can showcase my creations.

After spending over two decades as a surface pattern designer and fashion illustrator, I decided to trade the hustle and bustle of Manhattan for the serene shores of Rhode Island.  In 2021, I moved into a little house not much bigger than my studio apartment in Manhattan. But now I can step out my front door and onto grass!

I live near the ocean and the beach which provides endless inspiration and sources of comfort. With much less distractions and a lot more quiet, I am able to focus on making art — and these days, that means returning to a passion for writing and illustrating for children.
